#GravesFearonEmployeeSpotlight
The Graves-Fearon Employee Spotlight program was created to give light to our amazing team members while supporting a local non-profit organization of their choice. Our employees each have their own unique skills, but they share in their desire to support their community. Employees are asked to choose a non-profit for Graves-Fearon Agency to highlight on social media. Viewers are asked to like, comment, and share posts. When doing so, Graves-Fearon Agency commits to donating $5 for each action, up to $250.
Pam Wisecup, Personal Lines Operation Manager, has played a vital role in Graves-Fearon Agency for the last 11 years. She chose Hospice of Dayton as her non-profit to receive the Graves-Fearon Employee Spotlight donation.
"My name is Pam Wisecup and I have been in the insurance industry for 20 years now. I am currently the Personal Lines Operations Manager and an Agent here at the Graves-Fearon Agency and I truly love my job! I never would have thought 20 years ago that this is what I would be doing with my life, but God knew. He put me in the right profession. It’s truly a blessing to get to build relationships with people and to help them make informed decisions on the protections that matter the most.
Spotlighting a charity that I strongly can get behind is very special to me. There are really so many out there that tug at my heartstrings and deserve to be recognized for the amazing and selfless services they provide: from children to pets, to feeding the hungry to providing safe shelter, from learning a life skill to beating addictions. The one I have selected, I have witnessed firsthand how wonderful, caring, compassionate and life changing they can be. I would like to put the spotlight on Hospice of Dayton.
Hospice of Dayton takes a Holistic Approach to care, focusing on the comfort, dignity, and emotional support for not only the patient but for the family and care givers as well. They help provide Quality of life by making the most out of life with the patient’s by bringing joy through reunions, reminiscing, laughter and just by being there to allow family to spend that cherished time together.
Pam Wisecup and her mom
When my mom got sick, it wasn’t just her that was affected. It changed all our lives. We became caregivers to a woman who gave her all to provide for us. We learned how much time and energy she gave to us unselfishly. When we had to take on her role, we saw how exhausting it could be. What she made look effortless all those years was now the role we had to take on and it was difficult and exhausting, both physically and mentally. She became more and more dependent on us for just everyday life needs. Hospice was so wonderful. They not only provided the quality medical care she needed but also the benefit of a new friend. Someone to talk things through with. A warm smile or a hug when needed. That is not where hospice stops. They shine on by providing professional care so that the family or caregivers can get the rest they need or help with daily chores so that we could give our all when we were with mom. Hospice of Dayton was truly a blessing. I am so thankful that we can honor them with a donation so they can continue providing such life changing care to those people in need."
Graves-Fearon Agency is proud to have Pam as a team member. She does so much for others and her community. We see you Pam, and we thank you.
UPDATE: With the help of our Facebook viewers, we were able to raise the full $250 for Hospice of Dayton. It is the hopes of the Graves-Fearon Agency that they will use that money to continue providing excellent service for families of the Dayton area.
